On behalf of PTM, please apologies for this inconvenience mater. I totally
understand your concern and impact of the broken copier units to your
business. 

 

I have managed to get my engineer team to visit Haleon today and estimate
they will arrive around 6pm Jakarta time. Because its already late and time
is very short, my team will maximize to install 1 unit and continue the rest
by tomorrow morning start at 9am Jakarta time. 

 

Once again we are very sorry for this inconvenience and unexpected issue. we

Apologies I was told by the local team that the devices had been installed,
in which case I assume they have been delivered and not configured which is
not right. 

 

I have contacted the team this morning as well as the local service manager
to ensure that the configurations are completed asap. Unfortunately, it
seems that today is a public holiday in Indonesia so the engineer will be on
site tomorrow.

are not installed yesterday (as you explain below), and even today we are
waiting until shift 2 (16:00 - 23:00) with all sites folks are being hopeful

I responded to this on the separate email chain but having spoken to the
site on several occasions we are still working on logistics of shipping in
new parts from other countries, for which there is not currently an ETA. We
have got loaner devices being installed today to aid the needs of the site.
So, to clarify, printing will be fully functional, and no additional charges
will be made for the loaner devices from today onwards so there will be no
financial impact.

 

One thing to clarify around the tech refresh is that neither centrally nor
through our local team have we recommended it and the Haleon site has asked
for this to be done early due to available budget. If the site wants to
refresh early that is fine for them to do but we cannot offer a discount
based on this decision, the best I might potentially be able do is alleviate
the remaining costs on the current devices they would be refreshing.

Please can you provide an update here? Why is this site unable to get parts
for printers that should still be supported? They have raised a request to
tech refresh these devices, which are only 6 years old.

We request to purchase 4 new printers rather than leasing as your advice as
leasing will be more expensive.

 

Those 4 current printers condition are truly produce very bad printing
result therefore could you please kindly support us to speed up the
administration process (Work Order) to Global Ricoh so we can execute PO
asap.

 

Got also information from local Ricoh Technician that all printers need new
spare part replacement but unfortunately all spare part for those type
already discontinued.

We will raise service now ticket for either service the printer which
impossible to be done or provide us the temporary printer until new printer
ready.
